Graphic designer

Full-time — Hybrid/Remote

As a Graphic Designer working at MDMC, you’ll be responsible for a range of projects, both external and internal.

You will work alongside our copywriting team to conceptualise, design and otherwise prepare graphic design projects for the purposes of assisting our clients’ advertising and sales efforts, and business objectives. Your job might include tasks like creating logos and other brand materials, designing and preparing sales assets like brochures, calendars, flyers and menus, preparing layouts and placements for advertising, both digital and out-of-home, and creating and maintaining documents like brand guidelines and sales proposals.

It’s important that you are familiar with the Adobe suite of software, namely Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign at a minimum. Experience with software like Figma, the design components of MailChimp & CampaignMonitor and Squarespace website builder are bonuses but not required.

Good English reading, writing and speaking ability is a minimum requirement. Any candidates with high-level Japanese language ability in addition to English will be strongly preferred.

We welcome and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply. Candidates will be considered without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, family status or disability status.

What we offer

  • At MDMC we believe people produce their best work when they’re happy, rested, and they feel their work has meaning. It’s with this in mind that we take particular care to foster a supportive and friendly workplace—no one at MDMC has ever been punished for making a mistake, as making mistakes is a natural part of pushing for the top.

  • As part of our investment in a happy, healthy, productive workplace, we offer every member of staff support for maintaining and bettering your physical and mental health. This includes subsidised or completely covered fitness memberships, and an employee assistance program with our client OCP.

  • As part of MDMC’s global team, you’ll have access to a shared office space as per your location. However, there’s no requirement to go in. Many of our team prefer the security of fixed hours, (and some positions demand relatively fixed hours) but many others can choose the days, times and locations of their work as it suits their schedules, and we encourage them to do so.
